When resistance rises, we often recoil, assuming we’ve failed or veered off course.

But what if resistance isn’t punishment—it’s presence?

This is a reflection on how resistance becomes the sacred whisper of your path, calling you to shift, refine, and realign.

---

Today I have been thinking about how resistance is course correction.

When I ran into resistance, I used to think I had done something wrong.

That I had missed the turn.

That if I had been paying better attention I would have gotten it “right.”

Resistance felt like failure.

However, thinking of resistance as course correction means that I didn’t yet miss something.

Instead, the push back of resistance is trying to tell me something.

Trying to get my attention.

To offer a new perspective.

To let me know that I didn’t screw up.

There is no reason to blame or judge myself.

Resistance is course correction.

In taking a new path, I can lighten my load.

I don’t need to hit my brakes.

In the new path forward, I can find ways to use the new perspective to help me see my path forward.

This is the affirmation:

**I am learning that resistance helps me adjust the path of my journey.**

Next time resistance appears, pause. Breathe. Listen.

The pushback may not be an obstacle—it might just be the map.

Let resistance show you where your soul wants to go next.
