All spiritual practice moves from and is supported by intention.
This practice is a simple way to help yourself identify intention for yourself and your life.
Following these steps is also a great way to take inventory of where you feel you are, what you want to let go, and where you would like to go.
Use this process focused in either a general way or towards a specific issue or challenge.
- Answer the following questions:
What do I want to learn about myself right now?
Where and how do I receive my strongest lessons – what issues, settings, people?
Where or how do I want to open myself more fully?
What do I want to let go? - Based on these answers, I set my intention as follows:

I want to learn:
I want to incorporate or integrate:
I want my next step to be: - Re-visit your responses in several days or a week. Look at where you are, what you have accomplished and where you would like to go.
- Repeat steps one through three as needed to help yourself consciously identify and set intention.
