The Witness Community

For those who see differently, sense deeply, and ask the questions that ignite transformation.
The Witness Community

Explore deeply. Ask boldly. Transform together.

You see what others don't notice. You ask the questions that make people uncomfortable. You've longed for conversations that don't require you to start from the beginning or explain why depth matters.

You've walked your spiritual path in solitude — not because you wanted to be alone, but because the kind of depth you carry is hard to find.

You don't have to do this alone. Not anymore.

The Witness Community gathers those who see differently, sense deeply, and are done with spiritual communities that flatten truth into certainty. Here, depth is the starting point. Transformation is witnessed, not performed in isolation. And no one asks you to translate yourself into something more palatable.

What It Means to Witness

To witness is to be fully present — with yourself and with another — without needing to change, correct, solve, judge, or improve what is unfolding.

Witnessing is not passive. It is not withdrawal or polite silence.

Witnessing is active presence without control — listening with your whole being while allowing truth to arise on its own terms and in its own rhythm.

To witness someone means you listen without trying to shape their experience. You reflect without inserting your agenda. You trust that what they're discovering is worthy — even when it's unfinished, uncertain, or uncomfortable.

To witness yourself means you show up honestly, without performance, without the demand for perfection. You allow your own truth to emerge. You resist the urge to immediately explain, justify, or package what's raw or unexpected.

This is how your truth finds room to breathe. This is how you learn to trust your own voice, your own heart, your own being. And witnessing is how we honor the voices of others.

Circles, Not Ladders

Most learning communities are built on hierarchy.

Someone knows, someone doesn't. There's a right answer. The one who knows has authority over the ones who don't.

The Witness Community is different.

Here, no one is above, beneath, or outside another. There are no experts, no spectators, no right answers to compete over. Everyone is whole, worthy, and complete — no fixing needed, no reparation of brokenness, no one to be rescued or corrected.

Instead each person is learning what needs releasing, claiming, and leaving behind.

Authority is not denied — it is transformed. Instead of external dominance, we honor the Power-Within each person. You are the authority of your own truth. Your truth lives here alongside the truths of others, within a collaborative covenant that supports us all.

Leadership exists not as control but as stewardship and guidance.

This is community built on Power-With rather than Power-Over.

What's Asked of You

In The Witness Community, you don't come to consume content or collect answers.

You come to be present — for yourself and for others.

When you join, you agree to:

  • Be present without performance. Show up as you are, not as you think you should be.
  • Listen to witness, not to respond. Let others' truths land without rushing to advise, fix, or suggest.
  • Speak from lived experience, not authority. Your contribution is your truth — not imposed, shared.
  • Allow uncertainty. The unknown and the unexpected are welcome here. Resist the urge to rush toward resolution.
  • Stay at the edge. Transformation stirs where the demand for certainty ends. You're invited to remain in your stir — with support.
  • Hold what's shared with care. Confidentiality and reverence protect the depth we reach together.
  • Take responsibility for your own energy. Your presence adds to the group. Bring yourself fully.
  • Release the need to fix. Others are whole. Trust their unfolding without trying to rescue or correct.

This is a collaborative covenant — one that honors your truth while safeguarding the shared space that makes the deepest work possible.

Three Circles

The Witness Community holds three circles: Roots, Records, and Resonance.

These are not levels. Not steps. Not a sequence to complete. Each circle is an open door. Choose where you enter. Add or shift when you're ready.

The rhythm across all three is walk-pause-walk. To walk is to experience life in the moment. To pause is to allow what is arising within awareness — without judgment, explanation, or the demand for immediate decision. You will not be rushed. You will not be left behind. You walk at the pace that is true for you, witnessed by others doing the same.

Roots — the circle of foundation

A rhythm of live gatherings and written practice for the soul ready to listen deeper.

There comes a moment when the surface of things no longer satisfies. You've read the books. Lit the candle. Said the words. But something stirs just beneath — a whisper asking for more.

Roots is not about consuming. It's about pausing. Listening. Being with what's becoming. Roots are about digging into foundational depth.

Records — the circle of Akashic Records immersion

Training to open the Akashic Records for yourself, for others, and for non-human energy.

You don't master a technique — you immerse in a sacred practice.

The Akashic Records Immersion is not a course you complete. This Immersion is a living relationship with the Akashic Records — a journey of discovery, personal truth, and integration. You will learn to open the Records for yourself, and in time, for others and for non-human energy. There are no levels, no tests, no certifications to chase. You learn and participate at the pace that feels true for you, supported by an international community committed to presence, discovery, and shared becoming.

Four classes meet twice monthly:

  • Open for You
  • Open for Other
  • Open for Non-Human Energy
  • Akashic Records Theory

By joining this Immersion, you are saying yes to showing up in integrity — for yourself and others. You are agreeing to hold the community as sacred space and to engage the Akashic Records with reverence and responsibility.

When joining the Records circle, Records includes membership in the Akashic Records Immersion with its archive of current and past class recordings, study materials, and its own workbook library. Plus everything in Roots: Akashic Record Insights, Wyrd Words workshops, and the full Wyrd Wisdom Workbooks library.

Resonance — the circle of personal mentorship

Come with your questions. Live life through your empowered truth.

This circle is Mentorship with Cheryl.

Not a session you receive, a conversation walked together. You and Cheryl meet monthly — 30 or 60 minutes — and work with whatever is alive for you. This may include an Akashic Record Reading if you ask, but the heart of Resonance is going deeper into your questions, your learning, your becoming.

Some come to Resonance for deeper support within Roots or the Akashic Records Immersion or Wyrd Words. Some come on their own, outside of any other circle. Either path is welcome.

Resonance is for those who want personal guidance — not answers handed down, but wisdom uncovered together.

A Way to Begin

You don't have to be certain to take the first step.

Akashic Record Insights is free and open to all — a bi-monthly gathering where Cheryl opens the Akashic Records and responds to questions from participants. No membership required. Come, experience, witness.

Or join a single Wyrd Words workshop to feel the rhythm before you decide.

Cheryl's newsletter — Cheryl's Field Notes — is another way to stay connected. Dispatches from the threshold for spiritual inquirers, deep divers, and those who know revelations don't come from tabloids.

This Is Not for Everyone

The Witness Community is for those ready to stop seeking alone and start becoming together. This is a place to immerse yourself in your depth.

It is for you if you sense deeply and probably always have. If you've walked your spiritual path largely alone — not by choice, but because depth is hard to find. If you're done with surface-level answers and the demand for spiritual certainty. If you want your transformation witnessed, not just experienced in isolation. If you're willing to show up with presence, integrity, and openness — and hold space for others while standing in your own power.

It is not for you if you're looking for quick fixes, right answers, spiritual performance, or someone to tell you what to do. This is a place where everyone shares presence with each other.

Here, we become together — and that asks something of each of us.

About Cheryl

I'm Cheryl Marlene.

I've worked with the Akashic Records for almost thirty years, and from the beginning, my relationship with the Records has been one of witnessing — not controlling, not interpreting, but being present to the sacred flow and allowing truth to arise as it will.

This is how I've always shared what I've learned. You are not here to be fixed. You are not broken. Healing is balance, not correction. Learning is not repair — learning is remembering, expanding, becoming.

I am the guide of The Witness Community. My role is to tend the energetic coherence, hold the center, guide without controlling, and honor every person who enters. I'm the one in charge and I bring topics, open the Akashic Records, and walk alongside. Your truth is yours. Your path is yours. I do not direct. I witness your becoming.

I shatter what you thought you knew. You discover what you've always known.

Before You Join

A few questions you might be wondering about.

Getting Started

How do I choose which circle to join?

Start with what's calling you. If you want a foundation of presence, rhythm, and spiritual exploration, begin with Roots. If you feel drawn to learn to open the Akashic Records yourself, Records is your path — and it includes everything in Roots. If you want personal guidance and one-on-one conversation, Resonance can stand alone or be added to either circle. There's no wrong door. You can always shift or add later.

Can I switch circles or add another circle later?

Yes. Your path may evolve, and the community is designed to grow with you. You can move from Roots to Records when you're ready. You can add Resonance at any time. Just reach out and we'll make the transition seamless.

What if I'm not sure which circle is right for me?

Start with Akashic Record Insights — it's free and open to all. Come experience the Akashic Records, witness the rhythm, and feel whether this community resonates. You can also attend a single Wyrd Words workshop before committing. Trust your sense of what's stirring. You'll know.

Is there a commitment period or can I cancel anytime?

Membership is monthly and ongoing. There are no contracts or locked-in periods. You can cancel anytime. A 30-day notice is greatly appreciated. My hope is that you stay because the work nourishes you, not because you're obligated.

What happens after I apply?

When you submit your application, you will be able to schedule a free 15-minute chat with me. I'll answer any questions you might have and we'll see if we are a fit. Then we will get you started into the program depending on which circles you choose.

Participation

What if I miss a workshop or gathering?

Life happens. Missing a session doesn't mean falling behind — there are no levels, no sequential curriculum. The rhythm continues, and you rejoin when you can. Recordings of all classes are available in your student dashboard, so you can stay connected even when you can't attend live.

Are classes and sessions recorded?

Yes. Class recordings are available in your student dashboard. One-on-one session recordings are sent to you directly.

What technology do I need to participate?

A stable internet connection and the ability to join via Zoom. A camera and microphone — being seen and heard is part of how we witness each other. A quiet space where you can be fully present.

What time zone are the live gatherings in?

Because Cheryl lives in Oregon, all gatherings are listed in US Pacific Time.

How much time should I expect to invest each month?

It depends on your circle. Roots includes three Wyrd Words workshops plus bi-monthly Akashic Record Insights — roughly four to five gatherings per month, plus time with the workbooks at your own pace. The Akashic Records Immersion adds four classes meeting twice monthly. Mentorship adds one session monthly. You set your own rhythm. This is not about overwhelm — it's about sustainable depth.

The Circles

What's the difference between Roots and Records?

Roots is the foundation — Wyrd Words workshops, Akashic Record Insights, and the Wyrd Wisdom Workbooks library. It's for those who want spiritual depth, presence, and a rhythm of exploration. Records is immersion into the Akashic Records themselves — through the Akashic Records Immersion, training to open the Records for yourself, for others, and for non-human energy. Records includes everything in Roots, plus the four Immersion classes. It's for those ready to enter a living relationship with the Akashic Records as sacred practice.

Can I join Resonance without joining Roots or Records?

Yes. ResonanceMentorship with Cheryl — can stand alone. Some come to Resonance as their only connection to this work. Others add it to Roots or Records for deeper personal support. Either path is welcome.

Do I need experience with the Akashic Records to join?

No. You can enter Roots with no prior experience. Akashic Record Insights and Wyrd Words will introduce you to the Akashic Records through direct experience. If you want to learn to open the Records yourself, the Akashic Records Immersion will meet you where you are. Wherever you are is the right place to start.

Is Akashic Record Insights really free? What's the catch?

No catch. Akashic Record Insights is a gift — a bi-monthly gathering open to anyone who wants to experience the Akashic Records and witness what's possible. It's a great way to experience Cheryl's connection with the Akashic Records and the depth of this community.

Community & Culture

What does it actually mean to "witness" in this community?

To witness is to be fully present without needing to change, correct, fix, or improve what's unfolding. You listen with your whole being. You allow truth to arise as it will. You trust that what someone is discovering is worthy — even when it's unfinished or uncertain. Witnessing is not passive. Witnessing is active presence without control — and the foundation of everything here.

What if I'm more introverted — do I have to share?

You are never required to speak. Your presence is your contribution. Silence, listening, and being with the group is a form of participation here. When and if you want to share, there will be opportunity. Witnessing includes witnessing yourself — and sometimes that happens quietly. Camera on during class is the ask.

How is this different from other spiritual communities or courses?

Most communities are built on hierarchy — someone knows, someone doesn't. There's a level to achieve, a certification to earn, an expert to follow. The Witness Community is built on presence, not performance. No one is above, beneath, or outside another. There are no levels, no certifications, no competition. You are the authority of your own truth. We hold space for each other's becoming without trying to fix, rescue, or advise. This is not content to consume — it's a rhythm of presence and integration that you live.

What are the community agreements?

When you join, you agree to be present without performance, listen to witness rather than respond, speak from lived experience rather than authority, allow uncertainty, hold what's shared with confidentiality and care, take responsibility for your own energy, and release the need to fix others. These agreements protect the depth we reach together and make the work possible.

Working with Cheryl

Will I have direct access to Cheryl?

Yes. Cheryl leads all live gatherings in Roots and Records — present, sharing, opening the Akashic Records, and holding space. In Resonance, you meet one-on-one monthly. Though there several classes run by our Community Coordinator, when you join The Witness Community, you're working with Cheryl directly.

How is Mentorship in the Resonance circle different from an Akashic Records Reading?

An Akashic Records Reading is a single session where Cheryl opens your Records and you explore your questions together. It's a moment of insight and resonance. In contrast, Mentorship is an ongoing relationship. You meet monthly, and the focus is going deeper — into your questions, your practice, your becoming. At your request, an Akashic Record Reading may be part of a Resonance session, but mentorship is the heart of it. Resonance is for those who want a sustained conversation, not a single encounter.
