A Question That Guides My Journey
“What is my truth today?” has become a question of comfort — a reassuring step along my journey, my own north star.
But it wasn’t always that way.
Living Through Fear
As a young woman, I suffered panic attacks.
Sometimes, for no clear reason, I would begin hyperventilating, my chest tightening as fear overwhelmed me.
Other times, I would run, hiding in dark corners, sobbing uncontrollably, overtaken before I could make a choice.
The attacks frightened me and those around me.
Finding Help and Understanding
What began as infrequent episodes in high school returned in my late twenties.
I knew something was wrong but felt afraid to seek help.
Then one day, I overheard a woman speaking about a doctor — a naturopath and homeopath.
Something in her words called to me.
I waited two months for the appointment, nervous and tearful when I finally sat in the doctor’s office.
Her kindness opened a door I hadn’t known was closed.
The Question That Changed Everything
Through her attention and care, and with homeopathic support, the panic attacks eased.
One day, she offered guidance that transformed my life:
“When you feel fear, uncertainty, or worry, stop. Then ask yourself — What is my truth today?
Give yourself time to hear the answer from within. It will come from your heart, not from fear.”
She was right.
That simple question began to dissolve my reliance on fear.
It helped me focus on what mattered in the moment and listen for truth within my heart.
Truth in Sacred Space
When I began opening the Akashic Records a year later, I brought this question with me.
Each time I entered that sacred space, I asked: What is my truth today?
This ritual transformed my experience of the Records and revealed a deeper understanding of who I am and who I may become.
The Beauty of Living Your Truth
Seeking personal truth within sacred space is both transformative — it brings structure — and transmutative — it changes your essence.
It has become a cornerstone of my work with students and clients.
Step softly into the beauty of who you are,
and ask yourself:
What is my truth today?
