You’re not the only one.
Truly — if you’ve ever looked around and felt like you don’t quite belong here, you’re in good company.
I hear this question all the time. And I’ve asked it myself more than once.
From a soul perspective, this feeling isn’t a mistake. And it’s not something to “fix.”
Here’s how I’ve come to understand it:
Many people alive right now feel like they’re in transit — like they’ve landed somewhere they didn’t expect to be. Imagine planning a flight to Los Angeles and getting stuck in a layover in Atlanta. You weren’t trying to go to Atlanta. But there you are.
That’s what Earth feels like for a lot of souls right now — not the final destination, just the stopover.
At a deeper level, though, this isn’t accidental.
You are here, now, because there is something in this space — in this very moment of the world’s chaos, uncertainty, and speed — that offers your soul exactly what it needs for growth.
And it’s okay to feel the disappointment. It’s okay to feel the ache of “not belonging.” You’re allowed to miss the destination you were hoping for.
But beneath that ache, something powerful begins to stir:
The capacity to stay steady in the unknown.
The practice of presence, even in discomfort.
The sacred art of choosing yourself again and again, even when nothing else makes sense.
That’s the real soul lesson.
You’re not here because you failed. You’re here because your soul knew that this was a space where you could learn what can’t be taught anywhere else.
This planet isn’t always an easy place to land. But you’re not lost. You’re not broken.
You’re becoming.
And that feeling of not belonging? It might just be your soul whispering:
You are here — but you are not only here.
There’s more to you than this moment can see.
Let yourself listen. Let yourself root, even in the in-between.
Because you belong to your becoming — and that belonging is enough.
