In times of stress, worry, fear, there is often the feeling that if I could just get Answers Now I could take care of whatever the problem might be.
This demand for Answers Now comes from many sources, primarily fear and frustration.
Energetically frustration comes from a sense of strain, obstacles, resistance, and unmet expectations.
When wanting something to work and it doesn’t, there is frustration that somehow you are doing things wrong and you need relief NOW.
If the frustration goes on long enough or is intense enough, fear will insert itself especially in the form of self-doubt or a lack of trust in self, in the situation, in life.
Very quickly ego, the inflexibility of self, wants and demands a quick fix – Answers Now!
You may feel pressure to get these answers immediately.
You may feel the bottom of fear well up and a sense of everything coming apart.
The ego presses for answers Now, especially answers which come from an outside source because in this state of self-doubt, answers within are suspect, not to be trusted.
Paradoxically, the answer in a simple way is to do exactly the opposite of what the ego demands:
Step back and
Take a look inside your heart for peace, quiet, and stillness — all removed from the ego’s frantic demands.
When the energy of Answers Now rears up, the need is not to search for answers, rather it is to give yourself a chance to make a different choice within the quiet of your inner being.
Now you have the opportunity to take in all of you, see the situation in its wholeness, and make choices rather than react to ego demands.
Often the demand for Answers Now is actually a situation where you’ve ended up in a dead end and from an inner perspective would be best served by formulating a new plan, a new approach.
Demanding Answers Now means any decision made will be made in the frantic energy of ego demand.
Taking a step back allows you the opportunity to assess all of you and make choices aligned with all of you.
