Sacred trust is not built on sentiment alone. Within a witness community, trust rests on clear agreements, healthy boundaries, and shared accountability. Without this structure, even the most heartfelt intentions can be misdirected or be misaligned under the weight of misunderstanding or disrespect.
The Building Blocks
Sacred trust in a witness community is not an accident of goodwill — trust is the quiet weaving of intention, choice, and shared presence. At its heart are three currents shaping how the community engages with one another, how the community holds space, and how depth is entered. In the hands of the leader, remedy is not a public spectacle, but a quiet, steady act that restores flow and reaffirms the safety of the whole.
